Bryan needs your help to support his brothers!
Please give before December 31st to help get brothers like Bryan ready for their next step with The Ability Experience.
Bryan and his brothers need your help!
Imagine standing at the steps of the U.S. Capitol, realizing that you’ve just completed a journey that you once thought impossible. That was me on August 10th. Today, I can’t help but think about the hundreds of brothers who feel the same way I did, thinking that the Journey of Hope isn’t possible.
Your support can help ensure they have the same opportunity I was afforded.
My journey started at an Ability Camp, where we built an accessible trail to a greenhouse. We had a blast building the trail and hanging with friends from the Special Olympics. I heard about Journey of Hope all weekend, but I didn’t think it was for me. All I could think about was all the reasons not to sign up—fundraising, buying a bike, purchasing gear, and not being able to work for a summer—it felt like it would be too much.
As I was getting ready to leave, something about that weekend sparked something inside me that said, “Do it.”
I can now say conquering Kirkwood, spending a day at Rocky Mountain Village, and experiencing the D.C. arrival have changed my life. The real heroes were the anonymous donors who helped me bridge the gap to make my dream a reality. I felt the power of donors like YOU believing in me!
For every person like me, there are twenty brothers who will miss out on these friendships with people with disabilities because they don’t think it’s possible. I don’t want that to happen, and I know you don’t either.
Your gift has the opportunity to change their lives like it did mine.
By making a gift today, you’ll feel proud knowing your gift helped someone like me experience the power of friendship and inclusion today! Whether standing on an accessible trail they built or raising their bike triumphantly at the steps of the Capitol, they can hold their heads high and chests out, celebrating their sense of achievement—because of YOU.
Please give as generously as you can. Your help is truly needed.
Yours Truly,
Bryan Resuleo
